I wanted to explore texture in the hat form. The ripple pattern was a challenge to knit in the round, having to knit every other row the opposite way than the pattern called for, but it turned out so well. The flower is a form I love to make with improvisational crochet, the rhythm of the hook and yarn catch hold and move like music. This piece is made with Cascade 220 and Noro Kureyon.
