I love the B52s. I love UFOs and aliens (at least the friendly ones). This piece was fun to make using an alien I'd found at the regional science center gift shop. It was a challenge to make the spaceship shape, and crochet turned out being the perfect method to make it. I chose to embellish with the funky metallic finished craft beads for a little extra glitz. Just because someone's an alien doesn't mean he doesn't want to have a little bling.
